[The boy, for that was what Kurt would think of him as because of his appearance, was a constant frustration. Proven by the sigh Kurt gave him, as if he was being heavily put upon.]
I was going to let you have the bed and take the couch.
[Kurt was confused. A blue, confused puppy. He wasn't entirely sure what to do with Petre, but he was here and safe and that was better than drunk near a small body of water. Making sure the water and pills were on the bedside table, he slowly moved to creep out of his own room, feeling like maybe he'd done something wrong, but not certain what that was.]
[He'll be a good boy and fall asleep, even if he's sulking. Hopefully he'll be in a better mood in the morning. He'll try to find Kurt in the living room soon as he's up, at least.]
[Kurt will be sprawled over the couch, blanket fallen to the floor, pillow half off, and legs and arms akimbo, tail looped around the back to keep him from falling off.]
[He doesn't ask for permission to touch him. He's sleeping anyway, so who cares, he thinks, brushing his hand down to feel the tip of a pointy ear. He runs his fingers through his hair, too. Not quite an affectionate gesture as much as it's simply curious.]
[Kurt's breathing stutters as he starts to wake, blinking yellow, sleepy eyes up at Petre. The touch to his ear tickles, but he's got a small smile from the hand through his hair.]

[Now he was confused. Good job, Petre.]

[he pats the mattress by his side.]

I was going to let you have the bed and take the couch.
no subject
[no.]
no subject
[He was going to point out the obvious one more time, putting emphasis where he meant it to go.]
You are drunk, freund. This is not the time to try to be... ah, exploring of new... things.
no subject
So you're just going to leave me alone.
no subject
I am not leaving you alone. I am merely in another room.
no subject
[but he's also drunk.]
no subject
You are with me...
no subject
Fine...
[He lets go of Kurt, rolls away petulantly instead.]

Petre?
no subject
[He sounds less like a brat now. Yay.]
Sleep well? Doesn't look like a comfortable couch.
no subject
He moves to get up, sitting and stretching, yawning and covering his mouth before looking back up at his house guest.]
I have slept in worse. How was your rest? Is your head all right?
no subject
[See? Not much of a liar after all.]
I did offer to let you sleep on the bed with me.
no subject
[Kurt was Catholic, remember? No taking advantage of drunk little demons.]
no subject
[whateverrrrrrrrr.]
So, what's for breakfast?
no subject
[He scratched at his hair, looking over towards the kitchen.]
What would you like?
no subject
[the answer is immediate.]
no subject
Would you like eggs as well?
[Getting up, he almost trips over the blanket, righting himself before bending down and picking it up to set on the couch.]
